This year’s Birmingham Kidney Walk and Celebration is deeply personal to us. My partner, Ro, made the incredible decision to donate her kidney to her father. This act of love gave him more time with his family, and while we now honor the memory of him, his legacy continues to inspire us.

We walk to honor her selflessness, to support those still searching for a donor, and to celebrate all transplant recipients and living donors.

This walk represents the power of organ donation and the impact it has on families everywhere.
