I am excited to serve as Honorary Chair for the 2025 Alabama Kidney Foundation Montgomery Kidney Walk & Celebration. Since 1929, Starke Agency has believed in the importance of “giving back”. We are committed to being good corporate citizens who strengthen the communities in which we serve. We have always strived to build business opportunities while intentionally leaving a legacy of building the River Region and beyond. We invite you to join those of us in a position to help assist our local neighbors facing kidney disease. Our focus is on those families in greatest need of assistance.
Alabama ranks #1 in the number of dialysis patients per capita in the United States.
Kidney disease is devastating to many dialysis patients physically, emotionally, and financially. This impact filters through the cost of business and families. The mission of the AKF serves to alleviate these tangible costs by providing patients and families with education, support, and financial assistance including help with treatment-related transportation costs. The AKF is the only state-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Alabama’s increasing number of kidney patients.
We believe in Montgomery and the growth of our community. My colleagues at Starke and I are committed to giving back to serve our area. For this reason, we will be sponsoring a Walk team to encourage your company to be part of the solution by partnering with us.

The Montgomery Kidney Walk Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at the Riverwalk Biscuit Stadium. In person registration will start at 8:00 am and the event will go from 9:00 – 11:00 am. I promise a memorable and fun event for all those that attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
